You can definetely order the stop lamp seperate. Please PM me with your vin number so that I can double-check that the part number I have is correct.

Thank you. I'll give you the price as soon as I have it.

Any chance I can get the part number for this part? I ordered what I thought it was, but unfortunately when I received it I realized it's not the correct part; it's not as wide as the one we need for the spoiler. Part number of the part I ordered was 81570-53050 (Which is not the right part). Thanks

I'm interested as well because I spent the last hour looking at a dozen OEM/OE sites or more and the ONLY number I could see is what you listed, 81570-53050.

Here are pics I just took of the part 81570-53050 (wrong part for the OEM spoiler). As you can see it wouldn't fit. Now I have to return this one.

If even Jasonm4 can't find the part, I think we need help! I want the OEM one, not one from "spoilerlights" dot com or something.

I think it's because it's not the same spoiler they used to originally sell with the car in the US? I saw a picture of another IS with the spoiler and the light is about exactly as wide as the license plate. Mine is obviously a couple of inches wider.

Would it help if I provide dimensions?

Yeah, dimensions wouldn't hurt at this point, from center of one hole to the center of the other hole and overall exact length.

I think your on to something. I have searched all US IS300's and started searching through a few European, Japan, and other countries that produced the IS200/IS300. As mentioned, I searched through all my resources and found nothing. I will send you a PM which may help.

I'm guessing that the wider brake light comes from an OEM-style spoiler. I've seen a couple for sale over the years. The OEM spoiler was $700+ from the dealership, but you can get something similar off ebay for ~$100

I found a site with LED supposed OEM replacement assemblies. One is 16.5" and looks very similar. Not positive if it's the same.

Thanks guys. Yeah, Mikster wrote a DIY a while ago on swapping the spoiler light and that's where he got is from (very cool DIY btw lol, Spoiler Light Swap). But I was on a quest to find the OEM one... Too bad I can't find the part.

I'm convinced now that the part I received is for a different spoiler than mine. Look at the one on Rey's car, it's as wide as the license plate. Mine is couple inch wider. I guess it's 16.5" but I'll go and mesure it. My only options probably the same as Mikster did, aftermarket one.

Thanks again guys, much appreciated.

Yep, the center light on my spoiler (picture above) is precisely 16.5 inches wide and from center hole to center hole it's 14.75 inches.

Maybe the one you got is the 12" one in the link? Sound like you might have gotten lucky anyway, they look pretty close. Maybe call them to confirm it's going to be an exact replacement.

I'm surprised it wasn't in ToyoDIY. I totally forgot about that great diy.

Thanks Jason, the one I got was from a Toyota-Lexus dealer online. I am in the process of returning it (cost me like 230$ shipped) and will probably go with spoilerlights . com, 16.5 inches. Just afraid it won't look as good as OEM but I have no choice now I think.

Anytime man, sorry I didn't have a definite answer. You said the holes center to center was 14.75", so this may work out perfect. As mentioned, I'd probably still place my order of the phone and try to verify the characteristics are the same so you don't have to return another. Here's the schematic of that 16.5" one they sell.
