Voice Activated Navi Command List:

Here are some, if not all of the voice activated commands, I believe. Bartkat if you have another document that lists all the commands can you either replace this post or add to it? Personally I find it helpful to carry a cheat sheet in the car, instead of having to seek out "help" to review the list.

Anyway, hope this helps:

Thanks for posting these. The last couple times I tried the voice activation, it kept turning the audio off. LOL, I figured it couldn't understand my WV accent. I'll give these a shot and see if I have better luck.

I haven't found the list of voice commands, just some examples of how to use it.

LOL! Remember to wait for the beep, after pushing the voice activation button. Also, if you want to take a look at all the commands on the screen just say "help" after hitting that same button--from that point you can scroll down to see them all.

Neat lil Nav trick

Well, having used the previous nav, some of you may already know this and it may be as obvious as the sky is blue. However, when you hit the Map button while driving it lists the street number and town you are, It has helped me a number of times already and is very accuarte...oh well, just thought id share

The weird thing about the navigation is they cant find certain house numbers, for example, mine. The closest house number it locates its 20 numbers down.

I think it's the way the database is structured. Both the NAV in the Lexus and online services like Mapquest locate my house 1/2 block down the street.

Do any of you have the list of NAV voice commands, I keep messing around and now I have so much crap showing on the screen, ie. restaurants, golf courses and gas stations, but I cant clear it?

Thank you for the help.

jhoo...you can clear all that, i think its under menu or something, just turn off the POI. As for the accuarcy, even on the previous nav it was way off...however, this time if you push the map button the street numbers in the areas i have pushed it were incredibly accurate

I found that cool, I also like the feature that moves the icon fast forward to your destination.. ala preview mode. Still learning more and more about this darn system, it's full of surprises!
