Oh well... I drove one of those 335i's... and quite frankly it's the best car I ever drove (driving dynamics-wise).
No more IS300. It was actually my wife's, we sold is early last year. Awesome car, we just outgrew it (at the time!).
I love the rinseless stuff personally. A ton of detailers use it just because it's very convenient to not need more than 2 gallons of water. Here are some links if you want to read about it.
You do need to be fairly methodical and use the right mitts/towels, so if you can wash normally I'd recommend you keep doing that but for a lot of us Toronto area guys washing outside mid Jan isn't so much an option, so this stuff works good as long as you don't mind a small puddle on your garage floor.
How much do you charge to detail a car inside, outside and engine bay? When I first bought my car I had it detailed at Mr. Steam Clean near Markville Mall in Markham. Those guys did wonders with the car... making the car spotless inside and out. But... it set me back $145.
Initially I planned to get my car detailed every year after the winter. But I've noticed that I've been able to wash the car's exterior decent enough myself... and I don't really have any marks on the interior... so I never bothered to go back to the detailer. The engine bay however is a different story. You can actually see the splash marks where water&dirt has entered thru the radiator at speed and hit the engine. When I'm in the engine bay I wipe things off sometimes... but it's still not sparking clean.
The prices are on my site http://gtaindetail.com under services. I only do engines in the nicer weather though. Two reasons; requires a pressure system (both water and air) and it's kind of pointless mid winter since it'll just get dirty again before spring.
Fair warning - my prices are higher than most express detail shops usually just based on the time involved and the products used (I remove seats, clean air filters, polish chrome, etc...) I've done ~10ish my.is member cars if you ever want to ask them about me!
You are so brave to wash your car by hand now. In the spring, summer and fall I hand wash my car... but during the winter I go to those coin operated pressure washers. The water at those places are heated as well.
Post a pic of your car again after a couple days have passed.
I'm sooooooooo sad.
My car is dirty once again; however, not as dirty as it was before.
I'll take a pic before I handwash it again tomorrow sometime after school.
At this moment, it's tooo dark out.

See! That's why I don't even bother washing my car (except periodically to reduce salt concentrations on the body). You wash your car... and by the time you drive to work/school the next morning it's dirty again!!!
You can tell picus is a detailer when he considers his car in this picture to be dirty. All I see is slight wheel spray behind the wheels... and it's so close to the bottom of the car.

It would still be clean if it wasn't for that stupid snowfall yesterday night.
Besides, I enjoy washing the car. Nothing beats a good ol' fashion handwash session. I can't stand the car being dirty for more than a week max. What can I say? It's one of my pet peeves.
