That is sooooooooo true!
Crester, your car is clean in comparison to mine. Let's just say my GGP was dirty brown!!!
Too bad I didn't catch any pics though.
I handwashed my car yesterday. It's SPARKLING clean.
Now I catch even more attention on the road. Just great!

LEXIGRL you hand washed your car in sub-zero temps? Hardcore!!
It wasn't sub-zero! Maybe more like a couple degrees. I actually went to my parents house. They actually have an underground garage with a carwash area, so I used that. It wasn't super warm down there, but it was slightly warm nonetheless. Maybe about 1 to 3 degrees as opposed to the -10 degree temperature and wind chills outside. *Brrrrr* The funny thing is, I used cold water to wash the car and later found out that they too had hot water. GRRRRR.

I guess the temperature had to be at least a degree or so. Just barely passing the freezing point as I didn't experience the "mitt being stuck to the car" effect. The ol' fashion way of washing the car is always tons of fun.
maybe the road grime would form a protective barrier around your car, come spring time, all you'll need a small hammer, a light tap and it'll hatch like an egg, clean and pristine....
