TurboEast IS300 Sport Turbo S1 Kit(AKA Budget Turbo Kit)

Just want to say thank you to the guys(Jeff,Josh,Sean,Steve?) at Turbo East. They have been great to deal with and very helpful in answering all my questions. If you have any questions about this kit please email Turbo East or call them. They all very busy so your best bet is to email them. I was at their shop and they are packed with IS300. I am very please with their work. "Sean" master mechanic at Turbo East is very detail person. He makes sure any work he does leaves the shop right. I even got a car wash. But dam it rain today. The kit runs strong. I will update this post 6 months from now if any major issue.
I don't have any good pice or video. Once I get them from Jeff I'll post them.

question for you...

this is a little off topic, but with the entry level stage 1 TE budget kit, do you need a turbo timer and boost gauge for the car?

In my opinion, at minimum...you should have a boost gauge and wideband. Worse case is get an electronic boost controller that has a boost gauge so you'll be able to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, if case you ever decide to upgrade, you'll have a boost controller to regulate your boost. A turbo timer is more of a nice thing to have, before you turn off your car just sit in there for a minute.

a turbo timer is really only needed when you've run the car hard or it's hot outside, having a true oil temp gauge is the best idea. A guy in b'ham had a timer set to the oil temp, when it dropped to a certain point it'd shut the car off.

But Back on your regular scheduled programing, SWEET. Great results any other mods? or bone stock?

Sweet. How loud is it? just curiosu through the l-tuned exhaust i'm sure there's a tad bit more power to be had with a more open one. but If it's quiet hell 326/308 is sweet. Looks like this kit will make for a hell of a sleeper. I take it you are auto juding by the 4k start on teh dyno?

That's jsut AWSOME! on an auto that's about 380 or so at the flywheel not bad at all that's waht 160 more hp than stock.

How's traction does the boost come in smooth or tyre frying goodness?
