For those doing water/meth/alcohol injection alternative... peroxide?

Has the thought ever occured to anyone to use Hydrogen peroxide instead of water? I am asking because water = h2o and HP = h2o2 (extra oxegen molecule) so I'm wondering if you would get better results and maybe a better burn being that the solution itself is more oxegenated... If this sounds crazier than drinking a trucker bomb than please forgive me as I don't know a whole lot about the water injection setup and how it benefits and what causes it to be beneficial...

I work at a store that sells 20% hydrogen peroxide (store bought peroxide is only 3% if you are lucky)

I will send a bottle to someone if they want to try it out...

don't ask me about the election... just ask me who I'd rather go camping with!

also the stuff that sally's beauty supply sells which is labeled as 40% isn't actually 40% it's more like 10-12%, as far as I know the 20% that my store carries is the purest you can buy it at the retail level... (carpet cleaning supplies)

haha... just noticed this got bumped... one of my first ever threads... damn...
I'm still interested to know if anyone has tried this yet...

btw... I know some places you can buy 20% hydrogen peroxide solutions for between 11-15/gallon... anyways... just a thought!

p.s. I don't work at the store anymore... but I do frequent it still... and I use the stuff everday in my business... so the offer is still up if anyone wants to try it, just PM me.

I'm thinking, if it's HALF as effective in this application as it is for cleaning applications, you could add just 8-16oz to your normal solution, to make up to 2gals of RTU solution. Which means 1gal would be enough to make 8-16gals of your normal RTU solution... so it in effect would be almost as cheap as your $1 bottles of washer fluid, after equating for dilution rates.

I found this
Quote:
Chemical Properties/Reaction Tendencies:
Hydrogen peroxide, upon contact with heat, will usually decompose into water and oxygen (2H2O2 ==> 2H2O + O2). Hydrogen peroxide also decomposes, when in contact with salts such as iron, copper, manganese, nickel, or chromium. When in contact with some organic compounds, hydrogen peroxide will form certain peroxides or hydroperoxides, which will start polymerization reactions. Hydrogen peroxide also oxidizes certain substances in most reactions(4). A high concentration of hydrogen peroxide, though, can be explosive when in contact with metals, such as the ones named above, and organic compounds, such as ethers and acetals(9). Hydrogen peroxide can be dissolved in water and in alcohol(11).

Nothing about an acid, but I am looking as well
