check over on ISfanatics, there's an install meet coming up this april on the 12th... there's already a few people doing springs/suspension so it may be a little tight to do another car, but then again it's worth a shot.

i've done springs suspensions before, but don't really have anywhere i can do them since i live in an apt. now.

saw that..unfortunately ill be out of town that day...

i thought those type of meets were for you to have time and a place to do your own installs and not someone else doing it all for you...because i would be just that type of person and feel like an ass not contributing anything at all, haha

my brother-in-law apparently knows someone that works at toyota in springfield but he has been impossible to get in touch with...

yeah i know the name of the mechanic, and yes he has worked on supras, he's certified... i'm not comfortable just giving out his info like i stated in the PM i just returned.

if you're serious i can get you into contact with him so that you can work out parts and pricing

suspension really isn't that hard, if you post a help-wanted thread in the regional forum i'm sure you could find someone local to do it.

i put my own suspension on myself on the is, and my civic, as well as many other friends cars. it's really not that tough. there's a write-up or two here on the site.

i'm willing to help, but don't have anywhere that i can do it. if you got somewhere lemme know

ah nice, a tint place not far from me in Laurel. I've been wanting to get my '08 SGM IS 350 tinted since I got it. Maybe I should check this place out. anyone have any experience? I'm thinking 20% (if this place will let me) based on the discussion in the Best tint percentage for Smoky Granite Mica? thread.

this other place has caught my eye too because it's not too far from where I work:

I live in arlington in nova but got word of the rates there, the guy did a phenomenal job at a good price. and the cool thing was it was right off the beltway exit 3a near woodrow wilson bridge, take 210 north, 6th traffic light down take a right, then take an immediate left onto a service road and follow it to the dead end where you'll arrive at the shop.

301-292-9457, i highly recommend him, just say someone got their IS done there and you want the same rate of $125.

good luck.
one more option is Formula 1 in Herndon. A friend of mine got his X5 tinted at there and he recommends them. But they're pretty far from me. Plus, he dropped $350 on it which is quite a bit more than what I'd like to spend.

Fresh Designs has been in business since 1989 and they have a lifetime warranty on window tinting. They do great work and have a lot of experience. Also, some of their cars and clients have been in magazines. 20% charcoal would look really nice on your ride. Go check them out since they are not to far away from you.

Thanks for this, just wanted to get a reference. I'll swing by and check it out. I'm also interested in something related to audio too - in my wife's 2007 Accord w/ Nav, I wanted to install something that would let her use her iPod. I've talked to DSI in Laurel and stereotronics so far. I'll talk to them about it too.

Putting stickers on fake wheels to pass them off is the same as a girl rocking a fake Gucci or a Lamborghini kit car or some fake Jordan's. If you can't afford to play then rock the lower end brands and stop playing yourself.
