I agree. we have all helped one another out at one point. DIY is fun too.

javier
what are you trying to get installed??
Shocks and rotor/pads

The one auto shop that I went to told me that their insurance did not cover aftermarket products
Altered Atmosphere can do those installs...however, i wouldn't suggest them since they dont work to much on Lexus's. SRT might be a better choice...they work on Lexus's all day long.
Thanks Wino, I will see if I can stop by on Friday and find out when they will be able to fit me in....

You're best shot at catching them there is between the hours of 3 and 7pm. Or you can try in the morning from 10-12. Call 301-982-4600 before you go to also make sure...Sometimes they run out for parts/food/etc...

That is not a bad idea either, maybe instead of buying food I treat you guys to some good cuban homemade food (Well, maybe just homemade and somewhat edible )

I am having my IS shipped in a week or so, and I am ready to mod it up!
But I am not sure which shop I should go to get it all done.

What's the best performance shop of them all in the DC Metro area? I see that Ultimate's got a good review, and Curry's overcharges, but other than that, I have no clue, where to go?

Which shop is cheap but reliable?

I am planning on doing all the basic mods
- Wheels, Springs, shocks, Exhaust, Bodykit, Tinting and maybe intake.

So what's the best shop that can do all that. Or maybe I should go to varying shops for each or some of them? If so, which shops do good job on which tasks?

Thanks!

Ziebart in Fairfax, VA do kick a$$!

I highly recommend them for tint, paintless dent removal, and detailing. Ask for Jimmy and make sure you guys bring up my name!

Hey guys, for a good shop to do your body work in the Raleigh North Carolina area, I go to Paragon Collison. They work on mostly high end cars such as porsches and MB but they also work on our lexus too. I had them do repair on my 4-runner and my RSX-S before. So mod. please add this to the list of body shops in North Carolina.
