Just curious if any of you had any plans for attending then and would like to meet up with yours truly, the my.IS Editor. Lexus is flying me in on Tuesday 30 March for an event for the North American debut of the CT 200h and for the Press Days on Wednesday and Thursday, but I figured I'd stay on in New York until Easter Sunday (April 4). Thus, my plans are wide-open for Friday April 2 and Saturday April 3, as well as a few hours on Easter Sunday before I fly back to Miami.

just so you know you definitly do not want to go to the auto show on a staurday or sunday i have been going to this show for he past 23 years and a weekend day would be nothing but a crowd of ppl where you couldnt even sit in one car. i plan to leave work eaerly one day during the week to attend the show.

I hear ya. I also prefer to hit the notably smaller local (to me) Miami Auto Show on weekdays for the same reason. And, as far as the NY Show, the Press Preview days might also give me a bit more of a chance to check out the cars.
I just posted this in case work or family commitments meant that any of you could only go on opening weekend...

I don't suppose you're going to be in the CT area for too long? I'm right on the CT/RI border near RT6. It's much more bearable to take a drive into CT than into NYC(Traffic, traffic, traffic..). I've been wanting to talk with a fellow enthusiast for a while now to discuss options, personal feats, and inform myself a little further on different setups.
PS - What are you driving down here? ;D

I'm actually flying up from Miami, and staying near Times Square. Thus, I figured that it wasn't worth renting a car and venturing out beyond the city.
