Hey .Netters,
For anyone interested Im going to post a link to NCEURO's site which has convoy information from destination:Durham,NC to Charlotte,NC.This is for anyone interested in riding in a huge crowd of really nice cars,it will pretty much be a meet, greet and take off for Charlotte meet.I am the point of contact for this information or you can contact: oenophile76 on aim and will be happy to help anyone interested in hooking up with these guys.See you at the meet!
Please let me know if you want to dyno and I'll get you added to the list (post here or PM me). If you sign up for the dyno, I ask that you please really be certain you're going to be show so we don't leave the folks who lay out the dyno deposit in the lurch.
The 'official' meet starts at 10am. I'd like to group up and roll in together, organized by model and car color if we can, so would like to gather at an easy-to-find place shortly beforehand.
A local grocery store has a 'second' parking lot up above their regular lot that would be a good point to meet up, plus if anyone wants to bring in some drinks, etc they could pick them up there.
The store I'm recommending is at most 1/2 mile from the place where the meet is, and is on the same road (Mallard Creek).
Let's plan to meet at the upper lot of the grocery store at 9:30, and we will promptly roll out of the store lot at 9:45 so we get good parking. If you don't show at the store, we'll simply meet up with you when you show at the meet (this means we will not wait for you if you're late, so come straight to the meet). Will try to reserve some spots for stragglers with the group, but can't promise anything.
The address of the pre-meet-up spot:
Harris Teeter Grocery Store
Mallard Creek
2201 WT Harris Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28269
It's right on the corner of WT Harris and Mallard Creek Rd. (not Mallard Creek Church Rd, that's a different road and different grocery store), across from the University YMCA.

Good to hear TomC. I'll be there too. I guess when you guys get to the meeting spot, you guys can give me a call me and I'll just get in my car and drive across the street and meet you. I live just two minutes away from that harris teeter.
THIS MEET WILL BE HELD RAIN OR SHINE. The forecast goes back and forth each day, sometimes 30%, sometimes 0% sometimes 50% precip (where it is now)... won't know for sure until a day or two out IMO.
