what? need promo code? im taking my IS there was well but im almost all stock... i live 15 sec from where its located. if u guys need anything give me a private msg and give me a call. we could probably all meet up at my place and all head out there together that'd be pretty tight.

CHADOs 1st show. Dayum. I had you pinned as a show queen.

We went last year. I was very dissapointed in the city. I thought cincy was dirty

Hotel was WAYYY overpriced and had to pay $35 to park for 7hrs.

We were hoping to be able to hit up some clubs after the show, at that point we were really looking forward to it, because the rest of the trip hadnt been much fun. Well little did i know the show doesnt end until about midnight. Then it takes 30 minutes to 1hr and half depending on where your parked in the show to get your car out. They dont let you leave it there over night. So yeah by the time we got out and reorganized it was after 1am. Clubs close at 2am. We went back to the hotel paid our $35 to park and watched homeless guys and thieves run around my car all night.


I didnt have much fun to say the least. Ive been on a lot of weekend car trips. And that by far was the worst.


Lots of unobtainable (blueball) hot car show chicks there though. That was pretty much the highlight.

Dont listen to me though. Take pics and have a sweet ass time.

One suggestion i have is dont bring your GF if you have one. They will watch you like a hawk the entire time.

Try searching for promotion code online. I did it for Boston and found a 10 off promo: postcard . That won't work for Chicago. But if you can't find anything just put: ursula to get 5 off but then the 2.50 fee so you save 2.50. Saving is still saving.

damn i already registered, no $5 off! left out a few modifications as well on the list

haha bgwilly the only other time i was in a show was back in 2000 with my integra. i got 20/100 points! the car was a mess, but i just wanted to see what it was like. from that i learned 1) paint needs to be intact 2) you need real rims 3) ghetto body shop work and cheap replica parts = instant lose! hence my OEM/JDM ness

unfortunately my JDM gf will have to come with me and believe me she gets jealous as hell! can't even watch a movie with a cute chick in it with her!!

anyway i'm excited just hope i don't get my front screwed up on the drive to chicago. this will probably be my only show for a long time, i just want to know where i stand after 5.5 years of slow modding. btw do i need to make an acrylic stand with a mod list?

Stands up a lot and help. Makes people actually stop to read about your car instead of just walking by looking.

I was going to show, but it's mothers day weekend, and my mom is giving me shit for not being up to visit since thanksgiving.

She still thinks I'm showing, so it will be a big surprise. Plus, when I posted the HIN 2008 thread awhile back, there was like no response, so oh well.

I'm going to show at the DeKalb HIN nightshift.

Yes they will, theyll just take a peek in there make sure nothing illegal or alcohol is in there. We usually put a cooler with water in the trunk, snacks, and cleaning supplies.
