not sure if ya'll care, but about a year ago after telling my sister some story she told me i should write all my stories down. she had encouraged my grandfathers to do this for years and my grandpa on my dad's side finally did. it was a pretty amazing thing when i read all about his time in WWII and growing up during the depression. Well i decided despite not having such a historic era to grow up in i could probably entertain a few people.
I decided to listen to my sister and start writing my stories down, this is the one i decided to start with. i am surprised that i have this much to write. i never considered myself a writer. anywho, it's the beginning of my story. if you think it sucks let me know. It's just my life, it could suck, but i have fun

I'm slowly starting to amass parts for a new pc build. Here are my specs so far:
Full tower gaming case (Thermaltake Spedo Advanced is in the lead)
Asus Rampage Extreme Motherboard
4 GB DDR3 PC1600 Ram
Intel Core 2 Quad 9650 3.0 Ghz Yorkfield
2 ATI Raedon 4870 X2 video cards in Crossfire
3 WD VelociRaptor 150GB Hard Drives in RAID 5 (Main C:\ Drive)
2 WD Caviar Black series 1TB Hard Drives in RAID 1 (Data Storage)
Bluetooth Adapter
Wireless Keyboard and Mouse
PCI HTDV card
Multi Card reader
Multi Format Blu-Ray Burner
Multi Format Blu-Ray Reader
Ass loads of fans, possibly water cooling
Kicking around the idea of 2 power supplies instead of one giant one. One dedicated to the Video Cards the other for everything else.
Windows XP Professional or Windows 7 (if it's out by then)
I might also just use the 2 1TB drives as data storage outright with no RAID and use a 1TB external drive like a WD MyBook or such on the eSATA port for backing up data.
I figure the whole thing will cost around 5-6k .... thoughts/comments ?

More RAM. DDR3 is awesomely quick, but you need more of it. 4GB just isn't enough with Vista/7. Otherwise, that thing is a terror, Mark.
