I know I'm new and not well known here, but i'm thinking of making the trek up there from Springfield. Man, being 20, not 21 sucks too. I will let you guys know, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Weather looks gorgeous for the whole weekend. For CHI2K9, some of us are not going to be going to all 3 days (3 other IS300s that I know of already + myself). We will be going Saturday. I wanted to give a heads up for meeting up and cruising down to CHI2K9 before the meet. We will be meeting up at the parking lot of Culvers restaurant on Highway 100 before we head down. We will be meeting at that Culvers on SATURDAY @ 9 am and depart at 9:15 am (we will arrive at the meet at 11-11:30 am because the meet/event at the forest preserve goes from 10 am til whenever and the festivities continue all day). So if anyone is not going to make all 3 days and wants to caravan down with our 4 IS300s and possibly more, then please follow up on this. Please arrive at Culvers a little before the set time so we are not waiting on everyone. Come with a FULL tank of gas and mapquest maps prepared already so we do not have to stop and get split up. I'll be there for a few hours Friday, and I'm gonna try and chill for a few hours on Saturday as well... put a fresh coat of wax on this afternoon in preparation.
I'll be bringing a brand new OBX y-pipe for sale as well, make me an offer if interested.
So i was driving my car yesterday and the clutch started slipping bad, pulled it up on jack stands and the hydrolic bearing doesn't have a gap between the pressure plate and bearing leaving the clutch engaged a little bit and slipping. So i get to pull the trans of and shim it again tonight. I hate pulling this v160 out, its such a bitch! O well ill make the meet, I'm just glad this didn't happen to me in Chicago or something.
