Well first of all... It's not new (its used) and its faster than any yacht i know of
I got a 2005 Audi A8L W12! The Transporter 2 car! I got it for an insanely good price and it helped that I sold my turbo zx-14 ninja and g37s. People who know me know that i just got the g37. Well i was just not happy with it. The transmission really killed it for me. I thought i was going to be able to live with that crappy 6spd but i couldnt.
Now the A8L... This is just one fantastic machine. The particular one i got has almost every option imaginable. Including red interior, s8 rims, s8 brakes, a refrigerator, and a red suede roof liner. Those are just the ones I remember. Ive already driven the car 100 miles today. Its just so easy to drive. It devours the highway, but boy is it easy to speed. I looked down at the speedo on the freeway once and I saw i was going 110 and it felt like 60. I also love the different suspension settings. I actually notice a difference between them. The best part about the car has to be its engine and power delivery. The torque is mind blowing. The motor is rated at 450hp/ 428lb-ft. It gets the car to 60 in around 5.5sec which is impressive since the car weighs almost 5000lbs. Ok thats all for now. I'll get more pics up in the next couple days. It was dark out and I only had my cell phone I'm sorry the pics suck but it was the best i could do.
thanks buddy! its a8L w12 though haha jk. To me, its one of the best engineered cars of our time. the Germans demand nothing less than perfection when it comes to their uber sedans.

I don't know if you saw the recent episode of Top Gear, but the Germans commit suicide if something's wrong with their top notch cars.
You've got a w12, What's the MPG on that?

I did see that. Very funny stuff haha
hmmm mpgs.... A subject that makes me cringe. Today, I beat the crap out of it, so its not a good avg to look at. On the highway, cruising at 80+, with the seat warmer on, the fridge on, and seat massager on, I was getting around 18. This really isnt so bad if you think about it. My IS gets around that in the city. Ok now the really bad part. I was driving in the city and driving it hard and i got it down to 7mpg! Thats just straight up horrendous!

OMG! It is a W12 though. Still doesn't change the fact that it's a beast of a car! Have fun with it!

It was definitely a worthy competitor against my S600L when I was shopping for a replacement last March.
In Europe it has disastrous residual value since the S class is probably sold 7 to 1 for any other luxury brands making the 7 series, A8 and Ls super rare and not very much sought after in the second hand market as most buyer keep them long and rather purchase them from new in those big engine config.
Do you have the separated seat configuration and full middle console in the rear??...very good option in my opinion...the one I almost bought was this one with Amaretto suede headline and natural magnolia leather interior and blue carpeting:
I went for the Benz since it was less mileage and had Brabus options for similar price and V12 twin turbo is much more potent than the W12 !

Pretty sick car man! I'm curious how much you paid too, how many miles, etc
I bet that thing costs like a few hundred bucks an oil change! How many quarts of oil does it take? haha
All of the higher ups in our company drive Audis. I am convinced they have some of the best, most well thought out European luxury interiors.

The PL: It's all politics.
Same thing as a Phaeton. Good luck with the repair bills. There are two reasons why top of the line luxury cars can be had on the cheap.
#1 Its out of style for some wealthier buyers to have an old model. Therefor when the new ones come out they dump what they have. Sometimes at a big loss.
#2 Theyre far too expensive to repair/maintain for the average person and arent always as reliable in the long run. Your self closing door latches (I know the Phaetons had them) are $1200 if they fail. Need to replace an oxygen sensor? You must drop the ENTIRE drive train down onto a drivetrain rack while the chassis stays up on the lift. 12+ hours of work. Awesome huh?

I have the separated seat and middle console. The interior is seats are red leather and there is a red suede headline. The setup in the back is truly glorious.

Ya i'm prepared for the repair bills. I'm not going to be driving this car every day. Hopefully that will cut down on the wear and tear. #1 is exactly what happened here. The seller sold this because he is getting the new Alpina B7
