That's exactly how a sports car is supposed to be, the focus should be on performance. The refined elements should stay true to expectations of the manufacturer. For me, I'm ok with a comfortable sporty interior with basic controls like power windows, A/C and a decent stereo.

But it's not really a sports car, it's a luxury sport sedan.
This does still looks nice even though it's 3 yrs old.
The interior is actually a lot older than that and dates back to the b6... Here's the interior of a 2002 Audi A4 3.0, which made its debut back in 2001.. The fact that the same interior can hold its own against the worlds best, 7 years later is testament to how Audi owns the interior dept.

So some moron decides to drive his car a couple of hundred miles in limp-home mode. Suddenly thats how the car works? Being a so called "car guy" he should have know the damn thing is in limp home, ie limp that f'er home slowly
The point isn't that the car is in limp mode. The point was that ever since he bought the car... it was a pain in the ass. He likes the car... but can't live with all the problems that keep popping up.
