2009 BMW 7 Series Pricing Announced

BMW North America has announced the base prices for the 2009 BMW 7 Series. The short wheelbase 750i will start at $80,300, only $3,700 increase over the previous model.

The 750Li has a starting price of $84,200, a $4,100 increase over the older generation 7 Series. The numbers are definitely lower than I expected and this can only please us. In an article I wrote last month, one of our readers, Lee, was almost spot on the MSRP. Good job Lee!

Hotice, you know its not the MSRP, but the options that is gonna kill ya.

The Sport Package will kick in at about 4K considering 4WSteering and assisted steering would come with, supposedly.

The Backseat entertainment pack for the Li will cost a mint. Looks nice though

Upgraded upholstery packages (aka "extended leather") for the dash and lower center console might cost anywhere from 2-3K.

It is so easy to up the value with options. I would rather get an MZ4 if I was spending that much money and had to get BMW

"Only $3,700 increase". That seems a lot for me, but then again if you're spending $80k or more, $3,700 is really nothing.
