Outside Temp Not Showing in my 05' IS300

does anybody else have this problem? all its showing is "--". is there a way to reset? or maybe that part got damaged? i got in an accident a few weeks ago, it was working prior to the accident. i even think it was working after the accident. anyways, i got my car repaired and everything works, except for the outside temp..what could be wrong?

The outside temp sensor is in front of the car. If you have had an accident, then it is broken or just not plugged in. You will have to remove front bumper to get to it.
