Just wondering if any body had problems that the GROM IPOD Adapter (V2) do not charge the IPOD? I just installed my IPOD adapter this week. The unit does not charge the IPOD.

I have been reading a lot of posts on the GROM unit and I have not seen this problem discussed.

It is supposed to charge your iPod, I would look and check your connection.

I'm considering buying one of these (V2). I read a few posts about the auto leveling head lights OR the auto on headlights not working for some people but work for others. What makes the auto lights work for some but not others?

I just upgraded my iPhone to the new 3GS and now my GROM cable - which was working perfectly - won't charge my phone!

anyone else have the same problem?

Just wanted to drop in for an update, it's been a year since I installed my grom unit and no problems. I am using the aux-in version, as I have about 3 different mp3 players that I use (and none of them Apple products). Still a satisfied customer!

Is anyone else finding it hard to find the V1 version that has the ipod connector, so far I can only find the one that uses the aux plug, which is just as I guess, just have to put with having to charge it with my computer every once in a while.

This is a great solution for anyone with an ipod or iphone. I installed mine a few months back and its been working flawless.

As hard as unscrewing the radio and plugging in a harness.. Not difficult at all with a 10MM socket.
