Yes it does, I use mine and it works wonderful

Love it because you can always hear when you're receiving a call/message since the music fades.

I've been researching for good MP3/aux line adapter to replace my iRiver FM transmitter due to too much static/interference in my city (Houston). I ordered the grom the day after Christmas for around $70 and it showed up four days later via USPS mail. Installation was very simple (remove HU and connect the adapter to the CD interface) and took about 20 minutes to test/complete. The audio cable from grom was too short for me so I had to go to Frys to get a 3' RCA male to 3.5mm male stereo cable. Also noticed the left and right audio channels are reversed, but you can reverse the RCA cables to address this issue.

I don't really hear a faint buzz from the amp when no music is playing. There might be something there, but it's very faint and you have to be purposely looking for it. This Grom unit works via the external CD-changer selector in the factory HU (just hit the CD button twice to change from radio/CD to aux- in).

Since the aux-line is going directly to the CD interface, the audio quality is extremely clear. It's night and day difference in comparison to an FM transmitter or modulator. Like an FM transmitter, You just need to increase the volume of your MP3 player to almost it's highest volume setting.

I'm extremely happy with this and wished I found this sooner. It's a very good find.

@is300soon: The 3' RCA to 3.5mm stereo cable is just a generic audio cable. There's nothing special about this cable and you should be able to pick up at any car/electronics store (Bestbuy, Frys, Radioshack). Here are some examples of the cable that I bought except mine was a black 3' cable to better blend into the car. 6 Foot 3.5mm M to RCA Cable, Cables To Go -, Peripheral Electronics - iSimple 3' 3.5mm to RCA Audio Cable - ISVE923.

@ionic_slim: The CD interface is either that white one or the other one directly to the right. (I'm sorry, I don't remember off the top of my head) The two interfaces are different and the cable that came with the Grom product would only fit one of the two plugs.

Hm, this is very difficult, because if the interface is stored correctly inside of the middle console behind/underneath the stereo there is anything to see but the cable for the iPod or the standard mp3 player.

I will attach two pictures that might help you.

- First one is while fitting and testing the interface with my standard mp3 player BEFORE storing in the console
- Second one is AFTER storing the interface in the console. As you can see,you can see anything Today I place the iPod in the glove box and than there is nothing except the stock headunit where you can take a photo off.

For placing the GromAudio interface in the console:

- just loosen all four screws of the stock head unit,
- lift the unit a little bit up (complete removing is not nescessairy)
- place the box in the empty space on the left right hand side underneath the radio INSIDE of the console
- bring back the radio at its place
- pull all screws tight
- and....done

If you don't hide the box like this, well than....you might see it lying somewhere around

Hando from the UK lexusownerclub wrote a little walkthrough with pics. If you are interested please refer to the following link
