Well some of you know a project I have been working on and finally finished for the Orlando meet. Well Here are some picts for the ones who couldn't make it.
It has WiFi and Blutooth Connection. Wireless Keyboard and Mouse and USB 2.0 and Firewire Hub. Also can hook up up to 8 webcams a record at the same time. Besides all the other cool Mac Apps.

also do you know what they did about powering the mac mini? whether they just went with an ac inverter or whether they actually went with a straight dc solution.
Is your mini connected directly to your amp, or is it an auxilary input into a head unit (I'm not familiar with that pioneer unit... is it a head unit or just a screen)?
Do you plan on using the mini for navigation at all? I noticed the factory nav, just curious if you know of any good software for the mac.
very nice set up, really clean. They are like 5 mins away from my house

Once again, very nice.
No I connected it to my audio/video inputs on the back of my Pioneer brain (the 9000r I believe it is). The screen is seperate w/ a built in CD player. I play the dvd's through the Mac Mini. Besides watching dvd's my favorite part is watching the iTunes graphic display. It rocks! The navigation I'll stay with the factory one. What kind of software are you looking for? A Nav one or something else? I have software for just about everything. LOL
Thanks for the complements.

Thanks, I really happy with it. I have many other ideas that I would like to do, so we will see what happens. If your thing about doing this give them a call they are good people.

trying to figure out what a fair price for this kind of install is, I'm in so cal so don't wanna waste their time by getting a quote from them, do you have a rough estimate of what the cost was?
For those looking to do something similar, you may want to get a Xenarc screen instead. This way, you'll be able to get touchscreen support and decent resolution.
Very nice install. I was poking around on the 'net looking for some Mac mini car installations for my website www.macminichat.com, and yours was the first one I found. Very nice!
