Okay, so I'm impressed with the design, but how does it sound?
Quite nice actually. Unlike other woofers that are designed to be ground pounders, this woofer is a low distortion SQ woofer. You can read a proper review of the woofer at this link on DIYMobile Audio
As I've said before, if you're looking for looking for king kong in the trunk, hear me down the block bass; this isn't it. If you're looking for sweet sounding bass that you can bump to every now and again that gives you 100% trunk usability this is for you.

I talked to Nick this week and he said that the woofers have been fully built and are being shipped to him from the build house in China. Expect 3 weeks till he has them in his hands and then he'll start shipping. Can't wait to get my hands on some again!

Heyy whats good with these? Did the subs get sent to you yet?? From what I understand Stereo Integrity has delayed these a few times but are very soon to be released...?
The woofers are on their way to Nick at Stereo Integrity from the build house. They should be shipping by the end of the month.
I've had one My.IS member get a sub/enclosure combo from me already so I've already pre ordered his woofer from Nick. I don't know how many he's getting in on the first shipment but they're going fast. We have a list on another forum of who's already pre ordered them and they're selling like hotcakes.
If you're interested in one of these setups PM me and I'll make sure I get a woofer for you're setup in advance.

You're right, the BM's were delayed multiple times because I'm one picky bastard. The first delay was the change from the mkII to the mkIII where the motor went from a regular ferrite slug to the 10 disk neo radial motor. More BL was needed to cope with the two-piece carrier/diaphragm assembly, and neo solved the problem. Neo also helped shed weight, bringing the total down to around 12 lbs. The last delay was getting the cosmetics on the top diaphragm sorted out. But now everything has been taken care of and the assembly plant is finally done with all of them and they are headed our way. They should be shipping early February if everything stays on schedule.
Steven, have you posted the one picture we released of the motor being assembled?
So is there an specific amp you would suggest for running this woofer/box combo? 2 ohm or 8 ohm Setup?
For a single sub at 8 Ohm, the Sundown Audio SAX-125.5 is a perfect match. And for a single driver at 2 Ohm, the Sundown 1000D will work if you take it easy and set the gain appropriately.
