avic-n1 road question

how come sometimes the main roads on my screen are colored red, green, and orange? the same roads are not always the same color, but i noticed that even when i dont have a route programmed in, some roads are still colored.

also, can i get a remote control for the avic-n1?

thanks guys

don't know about the colored roads, doesn't happen with mine.
here's a link for a remote/voice pack on ebay.

roads shouldn't be colored like that if you don't have a programmed route (from what I've seen on my friends avc1)

yeah, its weird becuase sometimes the same road will be orange or blue.

i guess its not really a big deal becuase the unti still functions just as it should and i am very satisfied with this navigation setup.

maybe some other people with the n1 will chime in and let me know if they have experienced this or not.

thanks guys

its sounds great! i am very happy with the sound. the installer bypassed the stock amp and i think it still sounds good.

yeah, it may not sound as good as stock, but it doesnt sound bad at all. a lot of people on thie board make it sound like the sound quality is crap unless u add amps, but that is not the case at all. believe me, it sounds good enough to not have to add any amps unless you are a sound guy and want it anyway.

Does the N1 not remember previous routes and they are highlighted by the different colors. I beleive in the menu you can turn the option off.

so the different color roads i see are previous routes i have taken? that might be true, but a few roads are still colored that i havent driven on, but i have passed by them.

the previous routes are noted with a dot on the road...looks like pac man. the only time i remember the different color roads is when i opted for quick route 1, 2 or shortest. i know this doesnt help much...
