12v constant in the trunk?

Hi,

I'm installing my rearview camera and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a 12v constant in the trunk that I could tap?

On the drivers side there is a block behind the pannel on the backside. You could use a volt meter and check the lines. Otherwise I dont think so.

my camera came with enough wiring to go all the way back to the headunit with the positive, ground, and feed. The positive is supposed to connect to the reverse power.... not constant. You don't need/want the camera on all the time.

Good point. The camera's controller chip does get a bit warm. Plus I would have to fuse it if it's constantly ON. I noticed that my RCA video wire got a red wire attached to it. I think it's meant for me to connect to the red/black wire in the fuse kick panel. I already tapped my Pioneer's reverse wire so I'll just t-tap to the headunit. Thanks guys.

^ My thoughts exactly. That's where I tap when installing back up alarms.
