Kosstamogen, that is the same build I am working a deal on this week in Houston. Where did you get that deal? What was the pre-TT&L price, and was anything else added to get the 35,600 price?

San jose, CA.

Price was the absolute Out the door price. Any issues would have to be resolved on dealers side. They did not give us an exact price before tax, etc. They only said TT&L was APPROX 3500 (smart move on their part) I would ask for an exact amount if I did it over. I felt that it took some real negotiating but we were absolutely willing to buy that day and had negotiated at other dealerships. We threw out 36,000 from another dealership and we went down from there. Another dealership later called and said they would do $34,500 OTD but we had already purchased the car. From our experience no dealer was willing to sell '07 for $34.5k OTD (3-4weeks ago) so we thought that they may be playing games with us.

We are happy with what we got, but I am just curious if other people think it was agood deal. What do you guys think?

I think sticker was ~$33800. It was the first or 2nd week they had received the '07's and we "had" to get it that week. I wasn't expecting a good deal.

$199 over MSRP, OTD (7% sales tax) for a custom order. 2007 IS250 AWD, luxury package, nav, xm, and a few other options. Not the best deal I've ever worked, but good enough. I can't wait to get it.

$2000 under MSRP for my special order Smoky Granite/Sterling '07 IS250(MT), x-package & HID/AFS. Ordered last Saturday. Now I have to play the waiting game. I'm psyched though....

Does anybody know the slowest part of the year for the car sales industry? I know that it is best to try and get a good deal shortly before the end of a sales month or quarter. Also, does anybody know when toyota/lexus ends their fiscal year? Trying to get every advantage in my back pocket before I take on the the headache of getting a good price.
