Looking to buy an '01 is300, is this a good price?

New to the forum here and hopefully will be an is300 owner soon. :-) Recently saw a listing for an '01 is300 with 137k miles on it. It's currently listed at $6,570 USD. I know the mileage is really high but I'm told the is300 if well maintained, can last for 200-300k. It's certified and e-tested (I'm in Canada). I haven't had a chance to examine the car yet but is there anything in particular I should be aware of when I look at it?

Just make sure its been well maintained.check the brakes and make sure the stuff are good. Also check the timing belt 90k service, ask for all service papers and make sure the body is clean, shifts good.

If you use the search you will find many other threads.

Thanks, I'll be sure to check brakes, tires, etc. Is this a reasonably good price assuming there isn't any major problems with the car? Other than the timing belt and water pump at 90K is there any other maintenance that I need to be concerned about, on a car with mileage this high?

That's one of the lower prices I have seen in the past few months. I am looking to rebuy an IS. I am not looking for 100K+ mile cars but what I have seen seems to be $8000 or so so your price is lower than most.
